ASHLEY TREXLER
Strategy Director
- What I do: The techy stuff everyone hates: site infrastructure, lead gen, SEO, analytics, copywriting
- How I got into this: I discovered a knack and love for online writing in 2012 and rounded out my skill set by hounding top SEO, digital strategy, and website development experts until they taught me what they know.
- Places I've worked: Nope, I've always been self-employed (well, except for that one year where I traveled around the world recruiting J1 visa students)
- Clients I've worked with: The Washington Post, CBC, Niche Pursuits, Smart Blogger, Chamber of Commerce, SCORE, Conversations About Death, Colleton River Club, Coastal Discovery Museum
- My superpower: Strategizing from "here's an idea!" to "wow, it worked!". Going from big picture to specific plan of action is where I find my happy place.
- What I'm not great at: Movie trivia and graphic design. Beegee kicks butt at both, to my everlasting relief.
- Weird niches: Ivy League professors and lead conversion emails.

BEEGEE TOLPA
Creative Director
- What I do: Graphic design, branding, website design, digital illustration, print design and more
- How I got into this: I've been a freelance illustrator and designer for over two decades but it's more fun to work with a team. So here we are.
- Places I've worked: Microsoft, Hachette-Filipacchi Publishing, Nickelodeon, The Knot
- Clients I've worked with: Chronicle Books, Scholastic, NickJr, American Girl Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Price Stern Sloan-Penguin, IBM, Geico, Family Fun Magazine, Parents Magazine, Highlights Magazine, Tribal/BBD, Dutton Children's Books-Penguin, Colleton River Club, Coastal Discovery Museum
- My superpower: Taking a mediocre design and tweaking it until it's pretty and sparkly. Also, I never miss a deadline.
- What I'm not great at: All the stuff Ashley is good at. That's why we are such a good team. Chocolate and peanut butter.
- Weird niches: Artisanal soap branding and real estate postcards.
