Sea Turtle Protection Project - Hilton Head Island, SC
The Sea Turtle Protection Project at the Coastal Discovery Museum on Hilton Head Island, SC is an important program and we knew a brand update was necessary to really get the public invested.
We created a new logo, posters, bingo card, t shirts for volunteers, turtle adoption certificates, brochures and a website update. This is a great example of the cohesive branding strategies Brighstocking loves to do.
The Breakdown
BRANDING
Brightstocking was presented with a redesign for the Sea Turtle Protection Project. We put everything into a shield shape to showcase the protective aspects of this project. We added the colors of the beach and orange to represent safety. It was important that the name of the organization be the first thing you see, so we chose a bold font to tie it all together with a classic look.

campaign strategy
An important program, we knew a brand update was in order. Then we turned our attention to the best community outreach strategies. In this case, our goal was to encourage active participation from secondary and tertiary stakeholders, including residents, educators, and tourists. This was achieved by creating a game of bingo tailored to the turtle protection project. By creating an easily downloadable design, stakeholders could engage, learn, and explore at the same time, further increasing community outreach for this program.
point of sale promotion
A popular program, this offer was packaged with a physical product and sold in the museum's shop. With the refreshed branding, we created a sticker to be included with the package as well as a separate one to be sold at the checkout counter. This, combined with improved signage, increased sales and helped the program do more good in its community.
